PREVent-C has been utilized in a variety of applications and concrete mixes across the world where it has met or exceeded the following testing and certification standards.
ASTM C1581: RESTRAINED RING TEST
The ASTM C1581 test for shrinkage is the most accurate laboratory test available to the construction market. Rather than simply measuring unrestrained shrinkage length change, the C1581 test method takes into account all four material properties that are needed to predict shrinkage: length change, tensile capacity, tensile creep, and modulus of elasticity. The test measures the number of days until cracking and the stress that occurs during shrinkage. This test is documented to have excellent correlation to field experience.
ASTM NSF-61 : DRINKING WATER ADDITIVES PROGRAM
For potable water projects and needs, PREVent-C has successfully passed and maintains the stringent requirements of NSF for us in potable water.
ASTM C494 : STANDARDS SPECIFICATION FOR CHEMICAL ADMIXTURES FOR CONCRETE
PREVent-C has passed the testing required for meeting the specification standards as an admixture for concrete.
NTPEP: NATIONAL TRANSPORTATION PRODUCT EVALUATION PROGRAM
PREVent-C has been accepted by the NTPEP as an acceptable concrete admixture for road and bridge construction.
