The Magnesia Advantage

Reduce cracks and shrinkage.

Sustainable infrastructure has become a ubiquitous term across all recent construction, with costs, long term liabilities, and environmental factors being the drivers.  Since the invention of Portland Cement, concrete has become the most widely-used and diverse material in the building industry. Unfortunately, all Portland cement mixes are prone to drying and autogenous shrinkage cracks. These cracks lead to costly construction mitigation efforts and construction repairs.  Alternatively, when magnesia-based materials have been used in concrete and cementitious systems in historical building, it has resulted in better durability and longer life expectancies of concrete structures.
